How does a reminder reach me?

As an OpenVibe notification: it shows in the bell on every OpenVibe site you have open, and by email or push if you chose that for its kind. Your quiet hours hold it until they end.

Can I see this in my own calendar app?

Yes. Every channel has a public calendar feed, and your agenda has a private one. Subscribe in any app that reads iCalendar (.ics); updates and cancellations follow.

Who sees what I schedule?

A public stream is on your channel, here and in feeds. A followers-only one is seen only by the people who follow you. Followers hear about at most three new schedules from you a day.
